House of Addixion will be taking part in Coliseum Tattoo Expo.

The event will take place from July 24-27 at Nassau Coliseum.

House of Addixion will have a booth at the event, and several artists will be working the three-day extravaganza. Vendors will be doing implants, body piercings, and there will be a suspension show as well.

House of Addixion, located at 2560 Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, has been open since Feb. 18.

Body Integrity Identity Disorder is when a person believes was meant to be born without one or more limbs. Many people seek therapy in order to try to eradicate such thoughts.

Most people suffering from BIID seek help any possible way they can and many people have gone as far as applying self mutilation to the limb they believe shouldn't be there so badly to the point were it has to be amputated.

Going that far is they only way they can achieve what they want and believe in order to live and feel normal in society.

Due to the controversial practice, there is none publicly recognized practitioner who performs such type of procedures.
